Move over milk – kefir is the new ingredient to add to your usual smoothie! Kefir is a fermented milk drink packed with probiotics, good bacteria which provide digestive health benefits. Kefir has a slightly tart taste and although it can be consumed as is, it makes a great addition to many recipes. I’m currently obsessed with this kefir smoothie recipe. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Loaded with antioxidant-rich berries and peanut butter for extra protein and healthy fats, this easy kefir smoothie recipe is perfect as a snack or for breakfast during those busy mornings!

What I love about this kefir smoothie is it combines the comfort food classic combo of peanut butter and jam with a glass of milk. It’s your childhood fave in superfood smoothie form. How awesome is that?

If you haven’t heard, kefir has achieved superfood status thanks to being packed with probiotics, healthy gut bacteria that are great for your digestive health and immune system. Find out more about kefir health benefits and learn how to make your own milk kefir! It’s easier than you think.

Thanks to the kefir, this smoothie is rich in calcium. The peanut butter adds some protein and health fats to tide you over to your next meal. And the berries? They’re loaded with fiber and antioxidants to fight off free radical damage. Translation? They’ll help prevent disease and signs of aging. Love it!
