Want a refreshing start to your day? Look no further than this Kiwi Lime Green Smoothie! It’s Vegan and Paleo (aka Pegan) and rich in protein and omega-3 fatty acids thanks to the addition of chia seeds and hemp seeds.
What’s your morning routine? Do you hit snooze on your alarm? Are you super rushed and don’t have time to eat anything let alone set your intention for the day?
I’m like that sometimes. I tell myself I’m too busy to have breakfast. Too busy to reflect on what I’m thankful for and what I hope to get out of the day. So how do you make more time where there seems there isn’t any?
Start your day with calm. Charge your phone in a different room. Before you check all of your emails, take 5 minutes to write down what you’re grateful for and what you want to achieve today. Keep it short and sweet. Then put your blender to good use and create this nourishing green smoothie. You deserve it!
Hello, gorgeous greens!
Trust me, taking time for yourself before you start the craziness of the day will help you have a better day. And if it means getting up 5 minutes earlier, do it! And nourish your body the same way you care for other people. Loading up your breakfast with greens is a great way to do that!
This green smoothie is the perfect mix of tartness and sweetness. The lime juice really brings out the fresh flavors of the other ingredients.
