I am currently seeing clients virtually via a secure, HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.

What Clients Are Saying

“I was waking up in the middle of the night and having trouble focusing during the day. Christy helped me figure out it was hypoglycemia and made suggestions that helped the same day. I’m sleeping great and the brain fog is gone. I’m eating more than I was before and I’ve even lost some extra body fat around my waist. I’m so grateful I found her!”

Geri O., Huntington Beach, CA

“I’ve been struggling with constipation my entire life. I saw several gastroenterologists for it and a couple of nutritionists and no one was able to help. Christy helped me make tweaks to what I’m eating and my digestion has never been better. I finally know what “normal” feels like and it’s amazing!”

Marcus R., Lake Forest, IL

“Ever since going through breast cancer treatment I’ve struggled with weight gain and body image issues. Seeing Christy has helped me let go of my food fears and approach eating with self love rather than trying to diet. I’m losing fat, building muscle and eating more variety. All wins in my book!”

Neva R., San Antonio, TX

What can I expect during our first appointment?

In this comprehensive 60 minute session, we’ll discuss your nutrition and medical history, your goals and what has and hasn’t worked for you so far.

We’ll delve into your eating and lifestyle habits and routines to help me ascertain which approach will be the most beneficial to you.

Together, we’ll develop a concrete plan to help move you towards the results you crave.

How many sessions do you think I’ll need?

Every person is unique, so there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer.

People who want more support or accountability and those who have more complex concerns will benefit from more frequent appointments.

On the other end of the spectrum, I’ve had clients who are happy with the results they get from a single session.

This is your health and wellness. It’s all up to you!

What will we do during follow up appointments?

Our 30 minute follow up sessions are valuable for celebrating successes and troubleshooting any barriers that arise.

As you break old habits that weren’t serving you and replace them with more positive new habits, we can further refine your plan to help you reach your goals or set new ones.

Clients also value using follow up sessions for accountability and to plan for upcoming life events where their nutrition plan may need to be adjusted.

Are you going to take away my favorite foods?

Never. That wouldn’t be sustainable.

In our work together, we’ll focus on abundance, not deprivation.

In other words, we’ll discuss what you can add into your plan and prioritize including more of (rather than putting foods on a “forbidden” list that makes them even more appealing).

Do you take insurance?

Our practice is out of network with insurance companies. Please note that payment is due before your appointment.

If you have out-of-network insurance benefits, they may be able to be used for nutrition services. If this is the case, you will pay us directly and we will provide you with a Superbill receipt that you can submit to insurance.

Each insurance company and plan varies greatly on what they cover. Some clients with out-of-network benefits are able to receive partial or full reimbursement, while others can get the cost of nutrition services applied towards their deductible so they end up reducing their medical expenses for the year.

We recommend calling your insurance company to ask about whether you will receive any reimbursement for our services or whether you can apply the cost towards your deductible.
