So you had one too many drinks last night and your pounding head needs to know: how do you cure a hangover?
There is no “cure” per se, but there are things you can do to feel better faster!
I share the two reasons you feel so crummy after overdoing it on the alcohol:
- Low Blood Sugar
You may have tried other so-called hangover cures like a greasy breakfast or chugging sports drinks like Gatorade, but you can do better – with my smoothie designed to replenish fluids, electrolytes and stabilize blood sugar.
The closest thing we have to a “hangover cure” is prevention. I know, too late now, but good to know for next time. Try to pace yourself by drinking a glass of water between each drink.
I like to order a vodka soda in a large glass so I’m getting more fluids, less alcohol, and it takes awhile to drink. Make sure you eat a good meal to help slow down the absorption of alcohol.
