Honey Nut Yogurt Dip – No Refined Sugar!

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

This Honey Nut Yogurt Dip is the perfect accompaniment to my Cinnamon Apple Chips or any fresh or frozen fruit! It’s gluten-free and packed with protein and calcium thanks to the Greek yogurt. Way better than those caramel dips you see fruit packaged with. Plus, there is no refined sugar. Zipitty dippity doo dah!

Kids (of all ages) love to dip. It’s one of the things that makes snacking fun! Who doesn’t love eating with their hands and licking their fingers? Be honest, it tastes better that way.

Finally, a healthy dip you can enjoy and a great way to get the kids to eat more fruit.

Plus, I’m always telling my clients to eat fruit with a source of protein to help slow down the carbohydrates and provide more sustained energy. Basically you’re using some slow carb eating hacks to give your fruit extra staying power. That means fewer cravings and better weight management.

That’s why I’ve created this dip with Greek yogurt and nut butter – protein and some healthy fats from the nuts to help lower the glycemic index of your snack. Just call it a snack hack 😉

This dip is perfect for meal prep. Make a big batch and cut up some fruit. You’ll have healthy snacks ready to go all week long.

I also love making this dip and baking a few trays of apple chips for an appetizer before a party or for a healthier game-day chips and dip.

I love to use raw honey for this recipe because you’re not heating it, and the raw honey has some antibacterial and antioxidant benefits. Safety note: raw honey should NOT be eaten by children under 2 or pregnant women due to risk of foodborne illness. These individuals should have pasteurized honey.

Ok, that was super serious. Let’s break the tension with a musical interlude…
