Is there anything better than dipping fruit into chocolate? I have seriously considered getting a chocolate fountain to make this a daily option. But realistically, I love making my own Dark Chocolate Fondue with Fresh Fruit. It’s packed with antioxidants and feels so decadent. You won’t believe how easy it is to make!

This recipe is inspired by Lindt Canada’s Chocolate Fondue recipe (disclosure: Lindt Canada is a client).

It’s key that you make your chocolate fondue using the highest quality chocolate possible, which is why Lindt chocolate works perfectly. It has a taste that you just can’t beat, and pairs perfectly with fresh fruit from grapes and clementine slices to strawberries, kiwi and pineapple.

You can also use apples, pears and other seasonal fruits for dipping or dried fruits such as apricots pair perfectly. I didn’t use apples and pears or bananas for my TV segment because I didn’t want them to turn brown! If you make this at home, I assure you the fruit won’t last long so you don’t need to worry about browning as much 🙂

If you don’t have a fondue pot, no worries… you can pour your chocolate fondue over fruit kabobs or over a platter of sliced fruit. It tastes better when its messy!
